City of Sunset, Arkansas

When I first was introduced to the City of Sunset, Arkansas I was told that it was a place that was first established for slaves that worked on the plantations in Tennessee to come and live out the sunset years of their lives. This small town like many others in the Mississippi Delta have deep roots to this land, with many of the current residents living on land passed from one generation to the next. There are several old buildings that have a story to tell and we hope to provide you the history of this small town, USA.
